CDM 2015

Tony Murphy

Tony has a strong track record in applying strategic and operational solutions as well as extensive experience in successful project management across a wide range of businesses.

Tony is responsible for managing the day to day running of the company with the additional focus on key client liaison and developing relationships with complementary business partners.

Alex Minett

Special Projects Director

Alex Minett is the Special Projects Director for Hamilton Deed and is responsible for client management and new business. Alex manages Hamilton Deed’s major projects both in the UK and abroad, these included the London 2012 Safety Team, Facebook Data Centre in Sweden, Ground based Solar Projects in Jordan and other large scale construction and event projects.

He is a fellow of the international institute of risk and safety management and a graduate member of IOSH. He has over 15 years’ experience specialising in large scale construction safety.

Gavin Brown

Operations Director

Gavin is a former Royal Marines Commando. Gavin trained for amphibious, mountain, arctic, desert and jungle warfare, and saw service in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, West Africa, the Middle East and Afghanistan, earning various campaign medals. In recognition of his exceptional abilities and contribution on operations, he was selected for promotion and advanced leadership training. Gavin’s commercial experience includes working as a health, safety and security advisor and consultant to large corporations and African forces involved in mineral exploration. Gavin joined Hamilton Deed in a contract role in 2013 supporting various large scale construction and solar projects. Since early 2016 Gavin has taken on the role of Wales and South West England Health and Safety Manager, for Hamilton Deed.

Laurence has extensive knowledge of sales and marketing within the compliance sector having led this function in two established consultancies for the last eleven years. Laurence is committed to delivering customer excellence having helped his previous employer secure the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Service Excellence Award in Health & Safety in 2015. A qualified accountant, Laurence has delivered cost effective, pragmatic solutions across many sectors including Care, Education, Retail, Manufacturing and Financial Services.

Mohammad T. Abdullah is from Amman city and lives in Jordan he is Hamilton Deed’s health and safety consultant for the Middle East. He is passionate about health and safety and leads by example, in 2008 he obtained a BSc in health and safety and has worked in many challenging environments from the oil & gas industry, construction, civil engineering and more recently in the renewable energy sector.

Tim James

Sales and Marketing Manager

Tim is sales and marketing manager for Hamilton Deed, for both the training and consultancy sides of the business, but gained his experience in the media industry and with a number of technology start-ups. He also has something of a nautical background and has been senior helmsman and launch authority at Teddington RNLI Lifeboat station since 2002. Tim was introduced to Hamilton Deed just prior to the 2012 Olympics when he was called in to train the marine rescue teams at the Olympic Park.

Chris James

Chris has wide ranging experience in the corporate governance and resilience management sectors supporting Hamilton Deed in its world leading approach. He has led projects in these fields for the UK central government and other public and private organisations. Chris has also worked in the Middle East supporting several countries in their development progress towards establishing emergency management systems, disaster management responses and business continuity management.

He has over 25 years’ experience in this field and is a member of the UK Emergency Planning Society.

Mike Price

Mike is an organisational resilience professional (specialising in Business Continuity Management and Information Security) with over 11-years’ experience across multiple sectors, covering public (local and national) and private (including transport, leisure and telecommunications) sectors.

Mike has been responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring management systems to ISO22301 and ISO27001 standards, including writing policy, completing risk assessments and developing strategy.

Mark Cailes

Mark has been working for Hamilton Deed since 2012 mainly as an instructor training the full suite of construction skills health and safety courses. Mark also teaches first aid at all levels.

Mark is ex-military and as a sub contract trainer teaches a wide range of security training courses in the UK and internationally, his specialism is in aviation security.

Kate worked in the construction industry as a PA to an Executive Director in a national construction company for 12 years before leaving to have a family. She joined Hamilton Deed in 2015 as a part of the administration team.

Sarah Murphy

Sarah is responsible for the administration of client insurance surveys and reports. Prior to working at Hamilton Deed she was a Director of an International PR Company with specific responsibility for the company’s Trade and Technical accounts.

Sarah holds a BA Hons degree in Classics from Durham University.
