CDM 2015

Hamilton Deed provide CDM 2015 Principal Designer and Principal Designer adviser services. We also support CDM Client’s and assist with the discharge of the Client duties. Tony Murphy

Managing Director

Tony has a strong track record in applying strategic and operational solutions as well as extensive experience in successful project management across a wide range of businesses.
Tony is responsible for managing the day to day running of the company with the additional focus on key client liaison and developing relationships with complementary business partners.
When not tied down by paperwork and management issues, Tony can be found berating the English cricket team along with Surrey and Lancashire County Cricket Clubs, with whom he has long standing relationships having played for them ‘back in the day’.

Ana Fabrega

Senior Projects Consultant

Ana is our Senior QHSE Consultant with over 15 years’ experience developing and implementing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and now ISO 45001 across a wide variety of industries. She also has experience on compliance with regulations, representing organisations when liaising with regulators and providing performance reports and data for environmental reporting schemes such as CRC, CDP, FSC/ PEFC, WEEE and REACH. Ana has a passion for sustainability and experience on key sustainability rating systems, such as BREEAM. Bilingual in English and Spanish, outside of work Ana is an avid theatre goer which she somehow combines with looking after her two small children.

Colin Stacey

Finance Director

Colin is our Financial Director and advisor on strategic development. Colin brings vast experience of financial management across multiple sectors and when not working enjoys rugby and cutting the lawn.

Gavin Brown

Operations Director

Gavin is a former Royal Marines Commando who trained for amphibious, mountain, arctic, desert and jungle warfare, and saw service in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, West Africa, the Middle East and Afghanistan, earning various campaign medals. In recognition of his exceptional abilities and contribution on operations, he was selected for promotion and advanced leadership training, which has stood him in excellent stead for becoming Hamilton Deed’s Operations Director and Regional Manager for the South West. When not becoming heavily acquainted with the road network around the South West, Gavin is a passionate supporter of Exeter Rugby Club and all matters military.

Kate Shortman

Kate worked in the construction industry as a PA to an Executive Director in a national construction company for 12 years before leaving to have a family. Missing the cut and thrust of the construction industry, she joined Hamilton Deed in 2015 bringing some welcome order and words of wisdom garnered from dealing with 2 over active toddlers!

Phillip Hinton

Health and Safety Consultant

Phillip is a former merchant navy officer, who worked primarily on oil tankers, prior to transitioning to a land-based position. He has spent over 4 years working in the construction sector while progressing in a career in Health & Safety. Phillip also brings some much-valued IT expertise and oversees our internal processes.

Rachael Mcluckie

Rachael has 17 years’ experience with supporting clients to achieve legal and regulatory compliance in both Fire and Health & Safety for the private and public sector.

Working in both the UK and overseas Rachael spent several years working for the UK’s leading tour operators advising clients from a technical perspective as to how to safely manage their portfolio in overseas tour operations which provide destination services, excursions/activities, accommodation and transportation.

In more recent years Rachael has focused her skills on fire safety, fire safety prevention and training. With a strong auditing and training background Rachael has been working for educational establishments and the hospital / healthcare sector.

Raewyn Cotterell

H&S Administration

Raewyn keeps the ship afloat with her attention to detail and is the telephone voice of Hamilton Deed. Having previously worked as a Senior Administrator at a private hospital, Rae brings that organisational expertise to bear for us. An eagerly anticipated attendee at our staff get togethers Rae always delivers her superb variety of freshly baked cakes and biscuits, something not to be missed.

Sarah Murphy

Responsible for the day to day client administration, Sarah comes from a background as a Director with an International PR Company with specific responsibility for the company’s Trade and Technical accounts.

Steve McKane

Steve joined Hamilton Deed in 2020. He is a versatile and diligent health and safety professional with extensive experience within the construction sector and a previous HM forces background.

Steve is passionate about changing perceptions of Health and Safety. He has a proven track record playing a key role in driving a positive health and safety culture and improving standards.

Due to his hands-on and technical experiences, Steve is a highly effective communicator who can convey complex information with clarity ensuring understanding; being able to work at all levels within organisations; and able to approach health and safety risk with practicable and realistic solutions.
